Invitation and Bulletin for Hamburg-OL 2025 available. On June, 27th the weekend starts with a prologue in the East of Hamburg, followed by a two stage sprint in Hamburg Volksdorf on Saturday, 28th. Finally in Hamburg Harburg a middle-distance competition will take place on Sunday, 29th.

Planten un Blomen - die nordstory
NDR (northern Germany public broadcast service) has produced several nice documentaries about Planten un Blomen - a good opportunity to get in the mood for the race on August 26th. You will certainly recognise one or two of the locations!
Arrival: Rail rather than car
We recommend that all runners arrive by bus or train, or at least leave their car at the venue. All stages are easily accessible by HVV, and due to the volume of traffic in Hamburg, this is usually the faster and cheaper choice - and the more environmentally friendly one anyway.
Accommodation offer Hamburg-OL 2023 (update)
From 25.08. to 27.08. a meadow in Rosengarten-Eckel will be available for overnight stays, just like at the Sprint-OL DM last year. There is a large tent with tables and benches, a fridge, cooking facilities and washing-up facilities.

The races can start!
The Hamburg-OL with two German Championships, in Sprint-OL and Sprint-OL Relay, on the first weekend in September can come. The team - OSC Hamburg and SC Klecken - is in the final preparations. The programme booklet with lots of detailed information is now available.

DM organisers get input from top Danish events
Denmark is one of the leading orienteering nations when it comes to sprint orienteering. In recent years, several World Championship medals have been won by Danish runners, both individually and in the sprint orienteering relay.
A campground for the sprint weekend!
For the Sprint-OL-weekend a simple campground is available at the club location of the SC Klecken for the participants from 2/9 to 4/9.
Urban charm meets technical excellence
This year's German Orienteering Championships in Sprint and Sprint Relay promise to be an orienteering treat. The urbanity of the big city meets technically challenging sprint decisions and pure nature. The individual sprint decision will take place in a completely different type of terrain than the sprint relay.
The journey to the north is worth it
For elite runners, the focus this year is on Sprint orienteering. The highlight is the World Championship at the end of June in neighboring Denmark with the disciplines Sprint, Knock-Out Sprint and Sprint Relay.
