Yannick Michiels, bronze medallist at this year’s World Championships in Denmark, has confirmed his participation in the Hamburg-OL 2022.
The organisers are hoping for two strong elite fields at the German Championships and World Ranking Event in Sprint Orienteering. Other runners from Finland and Denmark as well as a strong national field of participants have already registered. Bojan Blumenstein, currently the strongest German runner, is also planning to take part. In addition to the German Championship title and world ranking points, the first three places in the men's and women's elite will receive attractive prize money totalling 800 euros.
The Hamburg-OL offers two great sprint-OL events combined with the opportunity for sightseeing in one of the most beautiful German cities. The closing date for entries is August 13th, 2022.
